Could your portfolio be taking on more risk than you realize?
In this episode of the Retire Your Way with ILG Financial Video Series, Dave and Chase discuss why market volatility can become a bigger concern as we head into the fall and, more importantly, how investors can prepare without trying to predict the market’s next move.
They explore the potential risks of being overly concentrated in AI and mega-cap technology stocks, the role of broader U.S. and international diversification, and why maintaining a cash cushion can be especially important for retirees who rely on their investments for income.
Dave and Chase also look at the role bonds and other income strategies may play in creating a portfolio designed to withstand periods of uncertainty.
The goal isn’t to predict the next downturn. It’s to have a financial strategy you can stick with when markets get bumpy.
